Katie: Forgiveness
Katie asks her guests on March 25 how they found peace with themselves. One woman forgives the man that shot her. Parents make peace with their daughter’s killer. A young woman confesses that she killed her best friend. What did it take for these people to reach a level of forgiveness?
Katie: Child Star Todd Bridges
Child stars fall every day. Very few stay on the top, and some go as far as to reach Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes rock bottom. For child star Todd Bridges, rock bottom was where he realized he had to turn his life around.
He tells Katie on March 25 that the day he went to rehab changed everything. He was abused by his publicist as a child and his father took the alleged abuser’s side.
Katie: Jim McGreevey Gay
When former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey came out, it was shocking and unexpected. He tells Katie on March 25, “This is who I am.” She goes on to ask him how hard it was to be open about his homosexuality. When he came out in 2004, McGreevey had his wife standing by his side. He said in his speech that he always struggled with his sexuality. He confessed to having an adulterous relationship with another man.
