Good Morning America: Father Sees Son for First Time in 10 Months
Yolanda brought her husband on Good Morning America to talk about why she does the show. She said she knows every Army wife’s spouse gives a lot and the Army wives are also giving at lot on the home front. They sacrifice a lot, like not being able to see her child because they are at college and they may be stationed somewhere else. Yolanda hasn’t seen her son in long time because she is stationed in Alaska.
But that ended today when Good Morning America surprised the parents with their son stopping by the show. It was a very tear-jerking moment watching the father and son embrace after not seeing each other for over 10 months.
GMA Military Reunion
Yolanda continued by saying no matter how long someone is gone, it will not weaken the bond you have with them. It makes you want to cherish every moment you can with that person before they leave again.
Cameron, the son, told GMA his father is his inspiration and he wants to follow in his footsteps.
