A mommy blogger’s Instagram account was shut down after Instagram claimed her pictures were violating their nudity policy. The account, @courtneybabyccino, was restored after a large uproar on social media. The picture is question is of Courtney Adamo’s daughter lifting her dress up to show off her belly. Courtney Adamo received a few emails from Instagram about their nudity policies, and thought they were sent to her by mistake. Then, her account was shut down.
After the uproar over her account being deleted, Instagram restored the account and also released a statement saying, “We try hard to find a good balance between allowing people to express themselves creatively and having policies in place to protect young children. This is one reason why our guidelines put limitations on nudity, but we recognize that we don’t always get it right. In this case, we made a mistake and have since restored the account.”
Good Morning America: USA Vs. Portugal World Cup
The World Cup match between USA and Portugal lit up social media on June 22 2014. There were 8 million Tweets during the match, and Clint Dempsey’s goal created the second highest peak of the entire World Cup so far. Pitbull tweeted “Anything is Possible #GoTeamUSA.” Jozy Altidore tweeted and said, “Wish I was out there tonight, but working hard to get back. No matter what, I’m #allin or nothing. #USMNT #1N1T”
Michael Phelps tweeted a picture of himself with the caption, “Custom jersey for the big game today!!! Let’s go #USA #usmnt !!!” Justin Timberlake also tweeted, saying, “What a match. 30 seconds away from advancing! Still, we control our own destiny… #IBelieve Go on #USMNT” It was a very emotional night for many USA fans, but many are still chanting, “I believe that we will win.”

Katie Couric recently said “I do” to John Molner. People Magazine has all the details on the wedding. It took place at Katie Couric’s home in East Hampton, and around 50 friends and family gathered to celebrate the couple. Katie Couric wore an ivory gown by Carmen Marc Valvo, and looked absolutely stunning.
Good Morning America: World’s Ugliest Dog
The world’s ugliest dog, Peanut, was on Good Morning America. Cameron Mathison, who judged the competition, said 29 dogs competed, but that Peanut had the special, strong spirit to win. Peanut’s owner wanted to enter him into the competition to raise awareness about animal abuse. Peanut was a rescue dog, and was burned as a puppy, and his owner wants people to know what can happen to dogs when they’re abused. She plans on using the $1,500 to help pay for bills of other animals medical bills.
