GMA: Michelle Obama Midlife Crisis
Michelle Obama’s bangs were heard round the world. She was the most talked about fashion statement at the Presidential Inauguration and President Obama loves his wife’s look. But what prompted the change from bangless to banging?
On Wednesday, the First Lady will talk to Rachael Ray about her decision to change her look. In a preview from the interview, she tells Rachael that being the First Lady requires her to keep herself in line. Her bangs were part of a midlife crisis. She wasn’t allowed to get a sports car or go bungee jumping, but her PR team let her cut her hair.
The First Lady debuted her new look on her 49th birthday. She took to her brand new twitter account (@FLOTUS) to show off the change. She said she likes the twitter account for the most part, but doesn’t like how people can post rude or demeaning comments. She appreciates the questions her followers send in and likes that she can connect with the people.
