GMA: Blogger Under Fire – Father’s Favorite Kid
A father blogger, Buzz Bishop, is facing an overwhelming amount of backlash after he wrote an article titled “Admit it. You have a favorite kid. I do” on the parenting website Babble.com. The blog he wrote detailed the birth of his two sons, the diverorce from his ex-wife and getting married to his new wife. The quote that has people talking is this one:
“If I were to be absolutely honest, my older son is my favorite of the two. He and I are adventurous partners in crime, and I can’t imagine life without him. He was an accident waiting to happen, and I’m so glad it did.”
GMA: Parents Favorite Children
Many people disagree with his statement saying you should love both your children the same. His rebuttal to the argument is he loves both his sons the same, but feels a greater connection to the older one who he believes he has more in common with.
Many people believe if the younger child finds out about the blog in the future, he will have a hard time accepting who he is, making it harder for him to grow up and feel confident in himself.
As Good Morning America said, honesty is not always the best policy. What do you think? Is having a favorite son or daughter wrong? Let me know in the comments section below.
Good Morning America: Wendy Williams Talks Dancing with the Stars
Wendy Williams sat down with Good Morning America to talk about Dancing with the Stars to talk about her predictions for the future of some of the contestants.
Williams said she thought Emmitt Smith, who she mentioned was born to dance, would probably place in the top five. Although Smith did well the other night, Williams said the judges are not giving as high of scores and the competition is far tougher.
Williams said she is rooting for Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, although she doesn’t think they will win. As for who heads home first, Williams said Pamela Anderson is lacking chemistry with her partner and will probably be eliminated.
And Williams even divulged a little bit of hearsay gossip, commenting that she thought Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy has far to much chemistry and maybe they had been having a few late night dance sessions of their own, if you get what I mean.
Good Morning America: Ty Burrell Talks Modern Family
Did you ever wonder if playing Phil Dunphy would be hard to do? It certainly is, said Ty Burrell. Burrell said jumping on the hood of a car for numerous scenes usually hurts and rarely does he get a scene in one take.
Remember when Luke bounced a basketball off Phil’s head and made it in the hoop? That had to take so many takes to get. My head would be hurting too, Ty.
And the laughs do not stop in the next season. In the clip shown on Good Morning America, Phil is trying to take his father-in-law Jay out on a fishing trip, but everything goes wrong and Jay ends up in the water. Phil’s solution to get him out? Knock Jay out and drag him to the shore.
Before Burrell left, Josh gave him a little quiz about his fellow cast members:
- Most unlikely to get a speeding ticket – Ty Burrell because he drives so slow
- Most likely to miss a plane – Sofia Vergala
- Class Clown on the set – Jesse Tyler Ferguson
- Least composed during a scene – Jesse Tyler Ferguson
- Most likely to get injured – Ty Burrell
