Good Morning America: iLuminate
iLuminate can best be described as light art. It allows performers, choreographers, technicians and artistic directors the ability to use light as art by combining all their skills into an amazing performance.

Good Morning America takes a look at the new off-Broadway show iLuminate where electricity, light, dance, art and creativity all meet in the pitch black.
Since launching in 2009, iLuminate has been using its own technology which they invented to put on some amazing performances for audiences everywhere. Even big name stars like Chris Brown and The Black Eyed Peas have used the technology in numerous performances.
And the craziest part about iLuminate is you can hire them to come to your parties for performances and you can rent the gear they wear on stage.
Good Morning America: iLuminate Performs
The cast of iLuminate will be opening a show off Broadway right after Thanksgiving. And it is a show you will not want to miss.
In the performance on Good Morning America a few people with glowing lights, kind of like moving neon signs, ran around the pitch black interacting with each other. At points one would run and jump into the darkness only to be hoisted away into the nothingness above. And at other times more glowing people would show up out of nowhere as more disappeared into the darkness.
The lighting covers the entire body of the performers and they do everything from fight with each other to jumping off into the darkness to doing some really cool, funky dances. And they all look different. Some had faces made out of light while other had helmets. One looked like a kid off the farm another looked like an urban B-boy.
iLumante will be performing at The Duke in New York City until the middle of January.
