Good Morning America: Liam Neeson in Taken 2
Liam Neeson sat down with Good Morning America to talk about his new movie Taken 2. The movie, which is a sequel to Taken, basically focuses on the same premise as the first movie. In the first movie, Neeson’s characters daughter is kidnapped. After some daring stunts and deadly hand-to-hand combat he retrieves his daughter. In the sequel, the bad guys are back for revenge but this time they kidnap his daughter and his wife.
Neeson said everyone involved with the first movie was very surprised it became the box office hit it became, with the movie taking in $200 million. It made him the action movie star he is today.
Neeson said he trained a lot for the fight scenes, also saying he had a great stunt double. Neeson said he used his training from his younger years as a boxer to get motivation to train hard and at times, he said he would blindfolded and have to execute the fight scene perfectly before it was filmed.
And if you think Liam Neeson is not funny please watch him and Ricky Gervais trade comments in Life’s Too Short. It is utterly hilarious.
Good Morning America: The Wallflowers Perform
Good Morning America welcomed The Wallflowers to the stage to play some of their hit music. The Wallflowers, who include Jakob Dylan, Rami Jaffee, Greg Richling, Stuart Mathis and Jack Irons, have been a band since 1989 have won two Grammy Awards over the course of their career.
The band stopped by Good Morning America to play their new single “Love is a Country,” from their new album Glad All Over which is going to be released later this month. And after a seven year hiatus, the band still sounds pretty good, saying they still have a lot of music left in them.
