Good Morning America: Jason Aldean
Jason Aldean, the multi-platinum recording artist and Billboard’s hottest male in country music right now, stopped by Good Morning America to perform his new single “Take a Little Ride.”
Aldean has been outselling his previous albums ever since he began releasing albums. His last album sold over 3 million records, which may it hard to sell more than that amount. But Aldean doesn’t think so. His new album, Night Train, is set to release today and Aldean said he confident it will sell well, saying his found some great songs for the album.
He also said he never wants his albums to sound even remotely like other artists’ work. Aldean always uses his road band in the recording studio, offering him a different sound than many other artists, as well as not having too many other artists featured on his songs. The songs are all his.
As for his growing popularity and fame, Aldean said it has been a learning experience. He said he has not been very famous for too long, stating every day he learns something new. And he has been learning quickly as of lately.
He recently had to make a public apology after the married Aldean was caught kissing Brittany Kerr, an American Idol alumna. He said his family is trying to work through the situation.
Aldean said his loved ones may not have signed up for the fame but they are going to be dragged along for the ride. He said everyone is learning from the past and learning to deal with the fame.

Aldean performed his new single “Take a Little Ride,” which has been #1 on the charts for 10 weeks. Aldean said the song almost didn’t make it on to the album. The song was suppose to go on his older album, but Aldean ran out of room on the album, so he decided to put the song on this album. And it is a good thing he did.
