GMA: Clueless on Broadway
Clueless screenplay writer Amy Heckerling is taking the popular story to Broadway. She’s currently working on a stage version of Clueless, and has been thinking about who she’d like to star in the stage version as Cher.
Amy Heckerling said she’d really love to see Katy Perry play the lead part in the stage version of Clueless, but if her schedule doesn’t allow her to, Amy Heckerling would also be happy to have Iggy Azalea play the part. Iggy Azalea does have the experience, considering that her music video for her hit song “Fancy” is completely based off Clueless.
Good Morning America: Novak Djokovic Married
Tennis star Novak Djokovic just took his second title in two weeks, the first being Wimbledon champion, and the most recent being the title of husband. 27-year-old Novak Djokovic tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Jelena Ristic on Thursday July 10 2014. The couple was surrounded by friends and family to celebrate the special event. Novak Djokovic and Jelena Ristic also have a baby on the way.
GMA: National Nude Day
July 14 2014 is National Nude Day. It is also the first day of National Nude Recreation Week. This holiday was created to help people step out of their comfort zones and into their birthday suits. The creators of this holiday suggest you celebrate by going skinny dipping or by answering your door naked. Dan Harris and Lara Spencer’s bodies were pixelated during the show as they pretended to participate in the holiday. Of course, no one was actually in the nude.
