It’s been over two years since we last saw Kate Gosselin and her eight children. But now that the sextuplets are celebrating their 10th birthdays, they’re back on TLC with a 2-part special: Kate Plus 8 Sextuplets Turn 10.
She also has twins who are 13 years old. So what exactly is a day in the life of Kate Gosselin like?
GMA: Kate Gosselin Motherhood
Kate shared that her life is pretty much non-stop and getting a little scary. She said she recently realized that it may have actually been easier when they were all in diapers. She admitted she never thought she would say that!
She said each of her kids has their own things that they do and they’re never all happy at the same time. She said she jokes at the bus stop with the other moms saying, “if there’s ever a random Gosselin because I miscounted, you know where I live, please drop them off.” She said that’s kind of become her joke.
Good Morning America: Gosselins Back on TV
Kate said the kids were definitely excited to be back on TV. She said she never would’ve agreed to it without asking them. She said they were excited and wanted to know right away when the crew was getting there.
They showed a clip of Kate with a bird on her shoulder and she said the bird is like her 10th child. The bird just turned one and when he ended up with the family, all the kids fell in love with him. She said she loves her pets because they never have a bad attitude and they love her for everything she does.
She and Amy agreed that when you have a teenager, pets are a nice break.
When asked what her proudest moment is as a moment, Kate said it’s every night when everyone goes to bed because it means they survived another day and everyone is happy and healthy. She said when they’re good for that moment, the house is quiet and all is well.
