Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are Hollywood’s most beautiful couple, and their engagement has been buzzing in the tabloids as a long-overdue event. This morning, GMA reported rumors that the hot couple could be married as soon as today, with their friends and family gathered at their private chateau in France. Pitt presented the 17-carat emerald engagement ring to Jolie this spring, after a seven year relationship resulting in six kids – all whom are reportedly overjoyed about their parents’ plans. This will be Pitt’s second and Jolie’s third marriage.

Though the reason for the gathering of loved ones at Chateau Miraval is attributed to a 50th anniversary celebration for Pitt’s parents, many clues tip off to bigger news of the A-List couple tying the knot.
The designer of Jolie’s ring, Robert Procop, is also in the south of Franch, while Pitt’s best friend and fellow celebrity George Clooney is only an hour’s flight away. To top it off, the French chateau conveniently has its own chapel, perfect for a private ceremony!

August 18 2012 is the projected date of the wedding, due to reports that the Mayor of Miraval, who is good friends with the famous couple, has pushed back dates for an annual festival. Locals have been gossiping, claiming that the rescheduling is due to clearing dates for the nuptials of the duo who met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
