Good Morning America: Celebrities on the Show
Susan Sarandon was on Good Morning America to talk about her role in the new film Tammy. Also, Robin Thicke was on the show to perform “Get Her Back,” and talk about why he dedicated his whole new album to his estranged wife Paula Patton.

Susan Sarandon plays grandma Pearl to Melissa McCarthy’s character in the new film Tammy. In August, she will be a real life grandma, and said her grandma name will be Honey. A clip from Tammy shows Susan Sarandon and Melissa McCarthy in a bar, and was very funny. In the film, she had to have fake cankles in three different stages of swollenness.
Susan Sarandon said she didn’t think about the similarities between Tammy and Thelma and Louise when she was filming this movie. Susan Sarandon said that they might have had the first selfie in Thelma and Louise. You can see Tammy in theaters July 2 2014.
Good Morning America: Robin Thicke New Album Paula
Robin Thicke was on Good Morning America to perform and talk about his new album, Paula. The album is all about Robin Thicke’s estranged wife, Paula Patton, and he hopes she likes the new album. Robin Thicke directed the video for “Still Madly Crazy,” and he said he took inspiration from the fact that he and Paula Patton were childhood sweethearts.
Robing Thicke said the whole album came together in about two weeks. In the video for “Get Her Back,” he included personal text messages between him and Paula Patton, and said he has “no idea what he’s doing,” and that he’s just flying by the seat of his pants. He also said that when you lose the love of your life, there’s not much left to hide.
Robin Thicke gave some advice to his fans, and said, “If you’ve got a good woman, take care of her guys.”
The last song on the album is called “Forever Love,” and in the song Robin Thicke takes responsibility for the breakup. He wanted there to be hope and positivity in the album. Robin Thicke wouldn’t reveal if Paula Patton has responded to the album and videos.
Robin Thicke performed the single “Get Her Back” live on Good Morning America. The song is very emotional. I’m not sure if this whole thing is going to work or not, but I wish Robin Thicke the best of luck.
