Starting July 8 2014, you have a chance to hear a rare recording of “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” along with 22 other Neil Diamond songs. You can hear these exclusive Neil Diamond recordings on the newly released album All-Time Greatest Hits. Lara Spencer met Neil Diamond’s cousin, Debbie, in the airport on the way to Wimbledon recently, and that’s where she got this news.
Good Morning America: Comfy Movie Seating
AMC Movie Theaters is announcing that they’re going to be putting La-Z-Boy style recliners in their movie theaters. The addition of these comfortable recliners will mean less seating, but more space for moviegoers. The seats will recline all the way back so you can be completely comfortable watching the newest releases.
Ticket prices could go up $1.00 or $1.25 when this happens, but it doesn’t seem like the price increase will deter people from going to the movies. In the AMC theaters that have already been renovated with this feature, box office revenues are up 60%.
GMA: Lara Spencer Up for Adoptions
The Humane Society of New York has named one of their dogs up for adoption ‘Lara Spencer.’ The human Lara Spencer loves dogs, and is a huge advocate for adopting, so she was pleased to see that this dog had been named after her. The dog is described as a mixed breed, gentle, trusting, and blonde, which Lara Spencer said sounds like a good description of herself.
