Good Morning America: Chris Colfer

Glee star Chris Colfer was on Good Morning America July 8 2014 to talk about his other job as a best selling author. The third book in his series The Land of Stories just recently came out, which is titled The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning. George Stephanopoulos said his daughter, Harper, is very excited that the third book is out.

One viewer asked via Tweet if things get better in The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning, because she said the second one was traumatizing. Chris Colfer said that things do get better in this book, but that he’d be lying if he said the ending was any less traumatic than the second book’s ending.

Chris Colfer said that when he was a kid, he hated when authors left him on a cliffhanger in their books, but that it’s therapeutic to do that to his readers now.

Good Morning America: Twitter Account Hacked

Recently someone hacked Chris Colfer’s Twitter account and said that he had been fired from Glee. Chris Colfer confirmed that he is not leaving Glee, nor has he been fired, and in fact he’s having a lot of fun on the show. He recently got to play a flying Madonna singing Peter Pan.

Glee has announced their final season, and Chris Colfer said that it’s kind of like saying he has one more mountain to climb, and that he can’t really look back on it quite yet. Once the show is over, he said he’ll be able to reflect on it and be sad that it’s over, but right now he’s right in the middle of it, and he can’t do that quite yet.

GMA: Chris Colfer Noël Coward Biopic

Chris Colfer will also be playing Noël Coward in an upcoming biopic. Other big stars that will be in that film include Ian McKellen, Vanessa Redgrave, Jonathan Pryce, and a lot of other great names.

Chris Colfer also has a few more books coming out in the near future. It seems he has no shortage of work, and it will be exciting to see where his work takes him next.
