Good Morning America: Celebrities on the Show
Neil Patrick Harris was on Good Morning America to talk about his many talents, including his latest endeavor as an art ambassador. Plus, Dane Cook talked about his upcoming film Planes: Fire & Rescue.

Neil Patrick Harris has been hired as an ambassador for the art competition Art of the Pixel. The Art of the Pixel competition is run by LG, who asked Neil Patrick Harris to be a part of the contest. They have asked art students around the world to submit digital media that would look great on amazing, new, technological TVs. There are nine students from nine different art schools competing. You can vote for your favorite on LG.com.
Lara Spencer confessed that she’s in love with Neil Patrick Harris, and very impressed by his large array of talent. The Broadway show he’s starring in, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, just recently won a Tony. Neil Patrick Harris will continue in the Broadway show until mid-August. He said it’s one of the hardest parts he’s ever played, because there’s a lot of improvisation in every show. Neil Patrick Harris hasn’t missed a show yet, and recently performed his 105th show.
Neil Patrick Harris will be in the upcoming film Gone Girl, and many are saying his part is the “Anti-Barney.” He plays Desi Collins, who’s the counterpoint to Ben Affleck’s character. Neil Patrick Harris said every shot of the movie is gorgeous and symmetrical. You can catch Gone Girl October 3 2014.
Good Morning America: Dane Cook in Planes: Fire & Rescue
Dane Cook plays Dusty Crophopper in Planes: Fire & Rescue, which comes out Friday, July 18 2014. He said that his character grows a lot in this film, and that there’s more humor and grit. Dane Cook said that he really loves working with Disney, and seeing a film come together over the course of a few years is really amazing. Dane Cook said that Planes: Fire & Rescue is very funny, and he called it the family film of the summer.
Lara Spencer told Dane Cook that she had a part in the film, and she played a reporter who was a Porsche, but unfortunately her part didn’t make the final cut. She said that she did make the DVD, but sadly not the big screen.
Dane Cook has a new standup special on Showtime called Trouble Maker. Lara Spencer asked for a preview of the show, but Dane Cook said it wouldn’t be appropriate for Good Morning America. That special will come out October 17 2014.
