A new study shows just how long it takes for your dogs to start barking in those cute heels. It takes just one hour, six minutes, and 48 seconds for your feet to hurt in a pair of heels.
Good Morning America accepted the challenge. Men and women on staff have worn high heels for fun or for assignments and dares. An x-ray of the foot in high heels shows that, depending on the shape of the shoe and your feet, the little toes will get curled and your foot is molded painfully to this modern day torture device. Eventually, this leads to nerve damage and muscles and ligaments get pinched.
While ladies love high heels, they can be a real pain in the instep. A study found that it only takes one hour, six minutes and 48 seconds for foot pain.
Heels hurt, but they sure are pretty. The lesson here is to only wear your heels a few hours a day and then switch to a supportive or comfy shoe. Also, buy shoes that don’t pinch your toes and follow the shape of your foot.

Some brides choose dresses that are over $300. Christy said she has spent around $10,000 on her dresses, gifts, showers, and bachelorette blow outs. In the end, she said it’s worth it because it’s for the happiness of her friends.
