Good Morning America: Trash to Treasure
Good Morning America has a special segment coming up called “Trash to Treasure.” The segment is going to be based off of Lara Spencer’s book “I Brake For Yard Sales: And Flea Markets, Thrift Shops, Auctions and the Occasional Dumpster,” as well as her TV show on HGTV, Lara Spencer’s Flea Market Flip.
As mentioned above, Spencer loves a good flea market find or thrift store buy. And when it comes down to some do-it-yourself type refurbishing of these gems, everyone knows she is the go to expert. Spencer wants to help Good Morning America viewers turn their dumpster dive finds into one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture and art.
Good Morning America is asking anyone out there with a cool vase, old door, rusty table or anything at all you think could be turned into something of value, to submit your piece to Spencer on the Good Morning America website. If you have a piece good enough for the show, you may be standing next to Spencer really soon watching her turn something you thought had no value into something fabulous.
Good Morning America: Trash to Treasure with the Co-Hosts
In a previous segment on Good Morning America, Spencer showed off her do-it-yourself tricks by showing some clips from her new HGTV show, where a team of designers go to a flea market, find some good pieces and recycle them into something everyone would want in their house.
From used tire rims turned into a table to headboards turned into fabulous tables. It is going to be a crazy week on Good Morning America starting November 19 2012. Make sure to tune into Good Morning America to learn some great new do-it-yourself tricks. And if you miss any of these segments, stop by Recapo anytime for a full recap.
