Good Morning America: Jimmy Kimmel Live in Brooklyn
Jimmy Kimmel isn’t scared of a little water. Somehow he was able to make it to the Good Morning America set before Hurricane Sandy to talk about shooting Jimmy Kimmel Live from his childhood neighborhood of Brooklyn.
Kimmel said he never thought there would be a storm this big during his show and he is nervous for Kelly Ripa. She is so small, the hurricane might swoop her away. He is also nervous no one is going to show up to the show, guests, employees or the audience.

But he has to put on the show. Kimmel said his boyhood idol David Letterman is going to be on the show after refusing to be on the show
numerous times. Kimmel said he has been obsessed with Letterman since he was a little boy. He even had one of his birthday cakes say Late Night on the cake. But now Letterman has a real excuse not to go to the show.
Other guests who are going to be on the show this week include Howard Stern and Chris Rock. Kimmel is also going back to the house he grew up in as a child and eats dinner with the family that lives there right now. He said no matter what happens with the storm, they will be filming tonight, unless they are told not to film by the police.
Good Morning America: Hurricane Sandy Update
The storm is continuing to move towards land. Many meteorologists do not understand exactly what Hurricane Sandy is going to do yet but they advised against going to beaches or anywhere near the water if it can be avoided.
They have continually advised to everyone in the path of the storm to stay inside for at least the next 24 hours.
