Game Of Thrones Season Premiere
Sansa Stark just can’t catch a break. Most would say that her naiveté and obsession with fairy tales and songs have turned her too soft. It’s a wonder she hasn’t been swallowed up by King’s Landing or beaten to death by King Joffrey’s men. Still, the eldest Stark female carries on. She had hoped to go home after Joff cast her aside and picked up Margaery Tyrell as his betrothed. Now, Sansa is more afraid than ever she will be turned into Joff’s pet.

Game Of Thrones: Sansa & Shae
In the season premiere, Sansa was watching the ships sail with Tyrion’s secret lover Shae. Shae took the place of Sansa’s handmaiden. Sansa wanted to play a game of inventing stories. She made up lives for the ship captains and where they were going. Shae didn’t want to play along because she prefers focusing on the cold, hard truth.
“The truth is always either terrible or boring,” Sansa said.
This is really a testament to how far Sansa has come. She’s had her dreams bashed against a wall and is no longer the soft little Stark princess everyone thinks she is. I believe that Sansa is going to outlast all of these people in King’s Landing because she lays low and is unexpected.
Game Of Thrones: Littlefinger’s Promise
Sansa wants more than anything to be reunited with her family. The Starks started out this series so happy, and now they have been broken and scattered across Westeros. Sansa was approached by Littlefinger with a new option.
I refuse to call Littlefinger Lord Baelish. He is just too sneaky, gross and weird to deserve my respect. I will kneel to King Joffrey before I trust Littlefinger. That’s why I’m so sad to see Sansa, my favorite female character in the series, trust him. He promises to get her home to her family, but I wouldn’t hold my breath, Sansa.
Game Of Thrones: Joffrey’s New Bride
Margaery Tyrell just wants to be the Queen of everything. She thought her ticket to the top was King Renly, but he was slayed by a shadowy figure in season two. Now she’s been picked up by the Lannisters in hopes of a profitable union of their houses.
On their way home from the sept, Joffrey is encased in a wooden box. He held a hanky to his nose in an attempt to block out the unclean Flea Bottom air. He’s still reeling from having a cowpie thrown at him last season. When his carrier stopped, Joff about had a heart attack.
Margaery, in a lighter and less protected carrier, had stopped to visit the orphans of Flea Bottom. She care naught about her fine silk dress as she swirls into the orphanage. She told the children they would be protected by the King and she would make sure they would be well fed. It was a major PR boost for Joff’s reign.
Game Of Thrones: Family Dinner With Queen Cersei
The most feared in-law of them all has to be Cersei Lannister. Though, after seeing his lovely bride-to-be being so strong and helping his image, Joff has turned to Margaery over his mother. Cersei is none too happy about that. She seemed a little sloshed as she recounted her son’s near fatal trip to Flea Bottom. Joff shut his mom up and tried to appear all cool and strong for Margaery.
Watch out, Cersei. Your little boy might go rogue and do something smart for once. Wouldn’t that be hilarious?
