For the last eight years, she has played the title character in ABC’s popular medical series Grey’s Anatomy. Ellen Pompeo talked in broad strokes about the most recent season of the show, and what it’s like to be a mother, both on her show and in real life, with daughter Stella Luna. She and her real life husband, Chris Ivery, recently celebrated their anniversary, though presumably they are officially married, unlike her TV spouse, to whom she is wed by the authority of a Post-It note.

Glen Campbell has had a long and storied music career, but he recently got some news that would change the course of the rest of his life. He opened up to Ellen about his diagnosis with Alzheimer’s Disease and even gave Ellen a performance of her favorite song by him, “Wichita Lineman.”
