Ellen April 11 2013 Preview
Ellen on April 11 will feature comedienne and the star of Veep Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The Band Perry performs their new song “Done” from the album Pioneer. Then, Paula Patton from Mission Impossible and Disconnect is telling Ellen about her new film. Also, don’t miss more from Ellen’s trip to Australia.

You can’t keep this girl down. Julia Louis-Dreyfus leaves one show and picks up another hit almost instantly. Of course she started on the insanely popular Seinfeld as the awkward city girl Elaine. She came back to TV in The New Adventures of Old Christine, playing the awkward divorcee Christine. Now she’s back in the critically acclaimed Veep, playing the awkward female vice president.
Veep is an HBO show, so if you haven’t seen it that’s why. HBO likes to let their stars run a little more wild on screen. As far as HBO shows go, Veep seems to be the more tame member of the family. You won’t catch any nip slips or drugs on Veep. You might catch Julia acting a little off kilter. If Serena were the real VP we’d all be in trouble.

Ellen is getting a performance from one of her favorite bands, The Band Perry. They were nominated for Group of the Year at the ACM Awards and their new album just dropped. Pioneer might be one of the biggest albums of the year. They are performing their new song “Done” on April 11.

Also on April 11, Paula Patton stops by to tell us about her new movie Disconnect. It’s about the struggles of using technology today. The film also stars Jason Bateman and Alexander Skarsgard. It hits theaters April 12. With the recent problems of cyber bullying and identity theft, the film is relevant and looks like a must-see.

She’s been teasing this for weeks and I really hope Ellen comes through on April 11. She chose an Australian underwear model to be pals with Gluteus Mikesimus and I’m dying to meet him!
