Mattel Kate Middleton Barbie & Prince William Barbie Doll

Ellen reported that Mattel is making Barbie dolls of Prince William and Kate. She was sad to learn that they don’t plan to make an Ellen doll. Ellen has decided she is related to the Royal Family, but I guess Mattel was not moved by her story.

Instead, Ellen had her own Cousin Ellen doll made, and she featured it on the show. She said Mattel will make these dolls available in April to commemorate the one year anniversary of the couple’s 2011 Royal Wedding.

“But you don’t have to wait for mine. I’m going to be selling them out of the trunk of my car after the show,” she said.

Ellen’s Bob Harper Workout

Ellen DeGeneres explained why she was walking funny on her talk show today. She and wife Portia De Rossi have started training with Bob Harper, from the TV weight loss show The Biggest Loser.

“It was like living my own reality show,” she joked. “Next week, I’m going to Wife Swap with Newt Gingrich.”

Though Ellen and Bob have known each other for over a decade, they only recently started working out. She said it is a difficult workout, and she wasn’t expecting the rigorous training she has seen on TV.

Ellen said she is very competitive, so she tried to best Portia at the various exercises they performed with Bob, such as rowing. She also mentioned Air Squats, Jump Rope, and classics like Push Ups and Sit Ups.

Bob Harper: Workout Advice For Ellen

She told Bob that her leg was hurt, so he modified the exercises for her. “And now my leg does not hurt,” she said. “I can’t feel it. I can’t move it.”

Ellen said the muscles throughout her body are tender after this new workout with Bob Harper. But she took his advice to heart. She said Bob told her to, “Stop crying, big baby, and keep moving.”

Ellen: Oh, Puh-lice Funny Police Reports

Here are the funny police reports Ellen shared on today’s show.

• Wisconsin: 5:28 pm – A woman called police and reported that her two bags of garbage had been stolen from the curb. The police investigated and informed her that the garbage truck had picked up her garbage.
• Nova Scotia: 2:33 pm – A delivery person reported seeing a woman bent over and bleeding at the neck. Police determined she was just wearing a red scarf.
• West Virginia: 1:17 pm – A 23-year-old woman called police to report that her mother-in-law had entered her home without permission and made insulting remarks.
• Massachusetts: 9:40 pm – A caller on Cliff Street reported seeing a strange foam coming up his front lawn that he believes is an extra-terrestrial. Officers responded and determined the strange foam was the reflection of moonlight on his grass.
