Ellen’s 1800th Show
For Ellen DeGeneres’s 1800th episode, she decided to reminisce about some of her favorite memories on the show. She said she still loves coming in every day. “I do it for one reason: the air conditioning unit at my house is out and it’s nice and cool in here,” she joked. She also thanked everyone for helping her with the show. She brought her favorite memory box to show some of her favorite memories.
Rebel Wilson & Ellen White Ladies Rapping
Ellen remembered the rap album she made with comedian Rebel Wilson called White Ladies Rapping. The two performed their song “Watching Cats On The Internet” on the show. They showed the clip and it was pretty funny. The song had lyrics like: “Kitty cat, kitty cat. Show me that, show me that.” But I have to say, Rebel Wilson did a lot more in the song than Ellen did.
Ellen DeGeneres Kissing Matt Damon
The next item Ellen pulled from the box was a piece of chewing gum on a sheet of lined paper that said Matt Damon beneath it. Ellen wondered how she got it and then they showed the clip of her and Matt Damon kissing.
President George W. Bush Painting Ellen
Then Ellen remembered the clip they once showed from the Today Show, where President George W. Bush was painting a lot of portraits of Ellen. In real life, President Bush was really painting portraits of important people throughout the world, but Ellen had changed it to be paintings of her. While the camera paned to show all the paintings of Ellen, President Bush said, “I like it because it conveys a passionate person and a strong person and a reliable friend.”

Then Ellen revealed she’d recently had a cameo as herself on Game Of Thrones. She decided to show a sneak peak of the event, where Ellen in Game Of Thrones attire came out from a giant lion’s head to perform before the Lannisters. “Hey, when did names get so fancy? The Lannisters. Funny name. Sounds like something you’d have in your house. Hey, I’d love to have brunch, but I’m getting new Lannisters installed,” Ellen joked. Then she said the reason why queens carry scepters because “everyone works, ‘cept her.” Here’s the video:

She remembered the time she ordered pizza for the audience at the Oscars and then had the pizza man on the show to give him his tip. Then there was a clip of her conference with President Barack Obama over Skype where she told him she broke his record of the most-tweeted photo of all time. “I heard about that. I thought it was a pretty cheap stunt myself,” President Obama said.
Then there was the time she surprised guest DJ and The Office star Ellie Kemper with a package. The delivery man marched right through the wall behind her, causing her to scream out loud. There was the time that Ellen surprised a choir from a Detroit charter school, who became famous after releasing a viral video of them singing Pharrell Williams’s “Happy” with Pharrell Williams himself. There was the time she surprised elementary school teacher Kirby with a book mobile for her school.
