Ellen Dresses Up as Amal Clooney

It’s Ellen’s Halloween special! Her costume for the special was as Amal Clooney, George Clooney’s new wife. She dressed in a bridal gown with a George Clooney dummy in a tux strapped to her. Ellen’s audience was also in costume, with several great ideas out there like Captain Hook, three Dalmatians, a Wonder Woman, and a Waldo.

“I like Halloween because it’s the one time you can dress up however you want and pretend you’re someone that you would never be in real life. For me, that’s married to a man,” Ellen joked.

Ellen joked that she went all out for her viewers because she didn’t even wear a wedding dress to her own wedding. Ellen said she was looking at her audience as an extended wedding party. She said it would be great if single people in the audience hook up because single people always hook up at weddings.

“‘Cause it’s a great story to tell. You know, we met at the Ellen wedding party and I was Sponge Bob and he was a pickle,” she said.

Ellen TV: Twitch Dresses Up as “Magical Mike”

Twitch was Ellen’s guest DJ and since he’s starring in the new film Magic Mike 2, he came as “Magical Mike”, a shirtless magician. Twitch said his waxing was holding up very well. He also said all the guys on the movie have decided to work out hard and not eat, so there’s lots of crankiness going on.

Ellen: Water Lady Gets Eaten by a Plant

Ellen had several giant Venus flytraps on her set. Since Nick the Gardener has been out filming Magic Mike 2, they’ve been having Ellen’s Water Lady Kathy water them. Ellen asked her to “bring her jugs out”. She came out with two big water jugs. Ellen asked her not to get too close to the big plant. She said, “This one here?” and then she fell in and got eaten.

Ellen showed off some of her audience costumes. Astrid and Scott came as an anaconda and a pastry chef carrying a sign that said, “Got buns?”

“I’m not sure you know what that song is about,” Ellen joked.

Liz came as a certified Ellen rock. Ellen said she was going to sell her in the Ellen store later. Another woman came as a person in Ellen’s Oscar Twitter photo, with carrying a giant board shaped like a cell phone with the picture on it and her face in the place of one of the celebrities. Ellen said she felt bad for whoever was sitting next to her.

Irvin and Veda came as Ellen’s prom picture, with Irvin wearing a bright red tux and Veda wearing the weird dress. “I hope you get luckier than we did on that night,” Ellen joked.

Ellen: Andy Belle & Haunted House

One of Ellen’s crew members was dressed up like Annabelle from the movie Annabelle. Ellen showed a trailer from her new movie called Andy Belle, which was basically just footage from Andy and Jacqueline’s trip to a haunted house. Check out the hilarious trip below!

Ellen: Screamer Chair Prank

Ellen also pranked the people backstage by setting up something called a Screamer Chair. The Screamer Chair has a ghoul sitting in a chair who suddenly will scream and fly out of the chair about seven feet. The Screamer Chair scared every single person who walked by. One girl actually fell completely backwards. It was hilarious.
