Ellen: Feeling Crazed for the Holidays

Ellen kicked off her show today by unveiling the cycle of emotions she knows we feel every holiday season. These emotions form the acronym Crazed. The emotions are:

• Cranky
• Regret
• Anxious
• Zorry
• Expection
• Dessertful

C is for Cranky, because of all the people at the mall, the parking at the mall, and the general shopping experience at the mall. That’s why you should look for the positive. R is for Regret. This happens when you drink too much peppermint schnapps at the office party and make out with a ficus you thought was Larry from Accounting. Ellen said the only solution for this is more peppermint schnapps.

A is for Anxious, which is how you feel when you wonder about whether your packages will arrive in time. Z is for Zorry, because Ellen didn’t know any emotions that start with Z. E is for Expection, which is a word Ellen made up to describe the feeling of when someone asks you why you’ve been married for six years and have no children. “Thanks, Star magazine,” Ellen joked.

Lastly, D is for Dessertful, the technical term that means “full of dessert but still eating pie,” according to Ellen. “The only way you know you’ve had too much is when strangers start sitting on your lap and telling you what they want for Christmas,” Ellen joked.

She also said if you’re feeling Crazed, the only solution is locking yourself in the bathroom and dancing.

Ellen TV: Guest DJ Twitch Magic Mike 2

Ellen told Twitch he spreads joy wherever he goes. She also said he’s “spreading more joy in the movie Magic Mike 2.”

“Yes, like a lot of spreading. And a lot of unseen joy,” he said.

“I see. I’m even more glad that you waxed,” Ellen joked.

Ellen: Twitch Dance Dares

Twitch went around Ellen’s parking lot, dancing behind people while they were walking. He was also dressed like Santa Claus. When they turned around, he pretended he was tying his shoe. One time he actually did the worm behind someone.

“That’s Santa’s twerk shop right there,” Twitch joked afterward.

Ellen TV: Dancing with the Stars Joke

Ellen said she was very excited because one of the people from her show was going to be on Dancing with the Stars. After showing a commercial for the show, it was revealed that the person from Ellen on Dancing with the Stars was actually Dancer the Mascot, the dancing reindeer from Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways this year.

Ellen: Decorating Clint Eastwood’s Office

Ellen said she wanted to decorate Clint Eastwood‘s office for the holidays. It wasn’t decorated at all, so Ellen sent her people to decorate it with lots of obnoxious holiday wreaths, candy canes, deer, snowmen, and a giant Christmas-themed Mr. Potato Head. Then they shot it with a tinsel canon.

“You can imagine the look of joy on Clint’s face. That will be amazing,” Ellen joked.

Ellen TV: Epic or Fail

Ellen played a game of Epic or Fail, where she shows part of a video clip, asks her audience to vote whether it will be epic or a fail, and then shows what it actually was. All of the Epic or Fail moments were mostly snow-related, with sledders and a snow mobile. The snow mobile one was the coolest, with a snow mobile sailing across a huge puddle at high speed.
