Ellen: Epic or Fail Viral Videos
Ellen kicked off her show by playing a game of Epic or Fail with the audience. The game worked by show a clip and pausing it in the middle and guessing whether what followed was going to be epic or a fail. Everyone in the audience had Epic or Fail paddles under their seats.
The first video showed a guy on a jetski. The audience said they thought it was going to be epic, but Ellen said fail. It turned out the guy did five flips in a row.

Another video showed a guy trying to do a jump on skies and flipping over with his head in the snow. Then there was a man who tried to jump off a boat and missed, falling on the boat itself instead.
But my favorite one was one where a dad was about to swing on his son’s swing set. His son shouted, “Mom, dad’s going to die!” The dad didn’t die, but his landing was bad.
Ellen TV: National Pickle Day & Classic Joke Friday
In honor of National Pickle Day, today’s Classic Joke Friday joke was pickle-themed. Ellen asked her “pickle boy” to bring it to her. A man carrying a tray of pickles and a hat with a little pickle on it came running out and gave Ellen her pickle joke.
The joke was, “What did the big pickle say to the small pickle when he failed his test?” He said, “Hey, it’s no big dill.”
Ellen then called her pickle boy to come get the joke and then asked him to pass out pickles in the audience.
Ellen: Chairs Farewell Tour
Ellen has been sending her old chairs around the country in something called Chairs Farewell Tour. Her old red chairs are traveling to different cities and Ellen has been sharing clues so people can find the chairs and be entered to win a chance for one of Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways. Last week, the chairs were at a Target in Hartford, Connecticut. The winner who found them won the chance to come to Ellen because she put her cute kids in the chairs.
The clue for the next city is, “When the island is a star you’ve gone too far.” I have no idea what this one means.
Ellen TV: Renata the Not Real Realtor
Then Ellen sent one of her writers named Jamie to pretend to be a realtor named Renata in a segment called Renata the Not Real Realtor. Ellen gave her three challenges. She had to make a blowfish face on a window, take a phone call from her boyfriend, and sing a popular song.
This segment was absolutely hilarious. Jamie sang “Chandelier” by Sia when she showed off the chandelier in the kitchen. She also said she wanted to show one of the people that the doors were soundproof in the bedroom. She shut him in the bedroom and screamed, but he totally heard her.
Next, she told the people that a good feature of the house was being able to make a blowfish face in the glass door of the dining room. Later, she said she had to take a phone call and went into another room and got into a huge argument with her boyfriend.
When she revealed she worked for The Ellen Show, the people were very relieved.
Is the clue referring to Star Island?
I think it is Miami, FL. Star island is an exclusive island with homes of the wealthy and past that you are in the ocean and out of the U.S.
The statue of Liberty?
