Ellen TV: Meryl Streep Reads Traffic Report as Woman in Labor
Ellen DeGeneres wanted to really put Meryl Streep‘s acting abilities to the test. As Ellen said, she really can do anything because she’s played all kinds of women. Ellen wanted to prove to everyone how Meryl really can successfully portray just about anything.
She handed Meryl an oatmeal recipe and told her she wanted her to read it “sexy.” I can tell you, I’ve never heard someone describe a cooking process that seductively!

Ellen then gave her a traffic report and told her to read it as a woman in labor. Breathing heavily and screaming the report in between gasps for air and squeals, I’d say Meryl nailed it. Lastly, Ellen wanted her to read Wikipedia as an annoyed teenager. She groaned, and added the perfect amount of attitude to her voice to make it sound perfect. Even her facial expressions were spot on!
If you even had an ounce of doubt about how good of an actress Meryl Streep is, there shouldn’t be any doubt left now!
Ellen: Zach King Magic Vine Videos
Ellen explained that Vine videos are six second long videos that people share online, and there is one guy named Zach King, who’s magic Vine videos are some of the best I’ve ever seen.
Perhaps the coolest one is the one where he’s standing outside of his car, and he says “When you lock your keys in your car…” and then jumps sideways towards the car and then appears to go through the door and land in the seat holding the keys.
Other videos include him throwing down a Rubik’s Cube and it exploding into a bunch of bouncy balls and throwing a blanket over a guy laying on a couch and then making him disappear.
Ellen invited him to come onto the show and shoot some videos on the lot for them. Ellen asked Zach to use his magic to get on the show because she would love to have him.
