Ellen TV: Lauren Graham Forgetful
Lauren Graham is of Irish descent, and she has a light-up crown reading Kiss Me, I’m Irish, so she did take some time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Her family’s motto is “Do Not Forget,” but they are infamous for forgetting things, like leaving coffee on top of the car. His dad also likes to wear two different shoes to the office, which he has done on multiple occasions. Soon, he will be retiring, so she is excited for him.
Ellen: Lauren Graham Birthday Check
Graham also recently celebrated her birthday, and she told Ellen that she spent her birthday with boyfriend (and Parenthood TV sibling) Peter Krause and his son. There was also a gift from DeGeneres, which escaped Graham’s memory.
Ellen sent Lauren a check for $0.01. Stamps are 49 cents, so Ellen’s team had to pay more to send the check than it was worth. DeGeneres thinks that it must have been related to residuals for one of Graham’s past appearances on the show.
Ellen TV: Someday, Someday Maybe Paperback
In addition to her acting career, Graham has become an author with the book Someday, Someday Maybe, which is now being adapted into international versions. She and DeGeneres questioned the translation into some of the other languages.
A paperback edition of the book is coming to stores on March 25. Graham teamed with DeGeneres to adapt the story for television. The women are very proud of their script and the story behind it, so they are excited to find the right home for it.
Ellen: Lauren Graham & Peter Krause
Graham and Krause have been dating for about four years, and Ellen pressed about whether the couple is making marriage plans. “We are very happy as we are, and I never have a good answer for this question,” Graham said. “I don’t know.”
