Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard Welcome Lincoln Bell Shepard, Not As Cute As a Sloth
For recently having a baby, Kristen Bell looks phenomenal. We always love when she’s on Ellen. Especially because she’s given the world an unnatural love for sloths.
Lincoln Bell Shepard is just over two months old. Kristen said she’s probably cuter than a sloth. The couple has decided not to show pictures of the baby to the public. They feel like if she wants to be a public figure, she can put her own selfies out there in time.
“It’s like he’s made a new best friend,” Kristen said her fiancé, Dax Shepard, is the best dad. He sings and talks to their daughter all day long.
Just for reference, Ellen pulled out some sloth selfies. Kristen Bell couldn’t help coo over them.
“She’s close,” Kristen said her daughter is almost as cute as the sloth babies. But what about a bucket of sloths?
“Come on, look at those dingbats,” Bell said with affection. Ellen said she recently found a rescue dog that looks like a sloth, and Kristen Bell said she was taking him home with her.

Ellen decided to try and do a drawing of the baby while Kristen Bell dictated details.

“Nice round fat head,” Kristen said her daughter has three strands of hair on the side, cheeks chubby on the bottom “like she’s being shot into space,” a bow-like mouth, and long eyelashes. Ellen asked where the name “Lincoln” came from.
“It’s always been Dax’s favorite name and he’s substantially bigger than me so I lost,” Kristen said.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have made a commitment that they won’t get married until gay marriage is legal in California. The decision has made her realize just how important this simple, equal right is. What happens to the money? What is someone is on a ventilator? What do you do with your will? It’s made the situation very real and more important for the couple.
“If you have a child or love each other, you should be able to get married, period,” she said.
Kickstarter Funds the Veronica Mars Movie
The Veronica Mars movie is a go! The people that worked on the show built a Kickstarter campaign that convinced the studio to take a shot. They asked for $2 million to make the film, got half the first day and wrapped at $5.7 million.
Kickstarter gives funders incentives to give. They get tee shirts, visits to set, tickets to the premiere and so much more. “I think there’s a tryst in Cabo San Lucas auctioned off,” Bell said.
Ellen said this shows what the fans can do and it puts the project in the hands of the people that are going to watch it. Veronica Mars the movie starts filming June 17.
