Justin Timberlake’s Favorite Thing About Being Married
The last time Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake’s wife, was on Ellen, she said her favorite thing about being married to him was being able to call Justin her husband.
For Justin though, it was knowing he made a great decision by marrying Biel. He said there are these rare times when he catches a glimpse of his wife and she doesn’t notice and he thinks to himself, “no matter how many bad mistakes I make the rest of my life, I know I made one really good choice.”
“It suits me,” he said of marriage. “And it is nice to marry your best friend.”
Ellen Gives Justin Timberlake a Wedding Present
Since Ellen and Justin are such good friends and because she didn’t give him anything for his wedding, Ellen gave him a huge gold frame with a picture of the two of them looking into each other’s eyes, a picture Ellen took when Justin was on the show previously.
“We don’t have anything over the bed yet so there you go,” he joked.
Ellen Makes Beyonce Mess Up Justin Timberlake Introduction
Ellen and Beyonce were the two celebrities who introduced Justin Timberlake before he performed at the Grammy Awards and it seems like Ellen was the one behind Beyonce slipping up during the introduction. Apparently while they were backstage, Beyonce was asking Ellen to rehearse with her but Ellen didn’t want to rehearse a tiny introduction so she told Beyonce to sing Justin’s name when they were going to introduce him, which she figured Beyonce understood was a joke. Unfortunately for her, she did not.
“I told her I would do a harmony with her and I just didn’t do it,” Ellen said.
Justin Timberlake Grammy Microphone Problems
While Ellen and Beyonce were messing around during their introduction speech for Justin, he was sitting backstage waiting when a stage hand came over and said he had to change the batteries on the microphone right away. Justin gave him the microphone but the guy was so nervous he couldn’t stop his hands from shaking to get the batteries. Finally, the stage hand gets the batteries in just as the Justin is about to go on stage and Justin said he just caught the microphone as the stage hand threw it to him and he performed.
“Good thing you milked the intro,” he said to Ellen.
