Jennifer Garner: New Baby Samuel
The last time actress Jennifer Garner was on Ellen, she was pregnant with her third child. Now, Jennifer is back and dishing on what it’s like to be a mom of three. Her son, Samuel, is almost seven months old. Ellen wondered, will Jennifer have any more children? Jennifer responded, “I plan to be done, but my husband is a wonder-sperm kind of guy.” A little-known fact about Ben Affleck!
The busy working mom was admittedly a bit frazzled for her appearance on Ellen; it even took her a second to remember Samuel’s name! Jennifer admitted to confusing her kids’ names all the time. She even confuses the pets and the children together sometimes! Jennifer has one dog, Martha Stewart, and used to have a guinea pig, Mrs. Andrews, until she recently passed away (RIP).
Jennifer Garner: Mom of Three
Jennifer’s daughters, Violet and Sera, are now six-and-a-half and three-and-a-half, respectively. She described Sam, the baby, as very “mellow and sweet.” Does Jennifer already notice a difference between having girls and boys? “I mean, the girls didn’t pee in my eye,” she joked. Ben is thrilled to have a son, but he is also great at being a dad to little girls. He loves to play tea party and baby doll.
Jennifer Garner: Gardening and Homemade Pizza
Jennifer has a garden that she started with her kids, and she recently had a “perfect mom night” making pizza. The kids helped her pick tomatoes that they had planted, and they made sauce from them. Jennifer even made her own pizza dough, and offered to teach Ellen how to make it.
The kids loved the pizza, but after they finished they asked, “next time can we have Dominos?”
Jennifer Garner: CinemaCon Female Star of the Year
Jennifer was recently honored with the CinemaCon Female Star of the Year Award. However, her own mom was very surprised, since Jennifer said she hasn’t been on a movie set in a year and a half. Ellen had to remind Jennifer’s mom, Patricia, what an honor the award is!
Jennifer Garner: “Butter” Movie with Ty Burrell
Jennifer’s new film is one that she also produced, and it’s called Butter. The black comedy features an amazing cast that includes Ty Burrell, Alicia Silverstone, Hugh Jackman, Ashley Greene, and Olivia Wilde (playing a stripper!). Jennifer explained that butter carving is a popular “art form” in the Midwest, where it’s more popular than the Super Bowl!
Jennifer Garner: Play-Doh Charades
In celebration of the butter carving theme of her new film, Jennifer played charades with Ellen using some malleable Play-Doh. Her “mom brain” kicked in again when she confused a dumb bell for a ringing bell! Otherwise, she did well, as did Ellen.
Butter is in theaters October 5 2012, but you can also watch it On Demand right now!
