Ellen: Halle Berry Scared
Halle Berry came by Ellen to talk about her new movie X-Men: Days Of Future Past. The last time Halle Berry was on the show, Ellen scared her with a man in a giant spider costume. This time around, Ellen said that she might scare her again. Halle Berry said she didn’t want to be scared again and then ran off stage. Ellen had to go get her from offstage and bring her back. “No, I was kidding. I shouldn’t have done that. Now, for sure we will,” she joked as she led Halle Berry by her hand back to her chair.
Ellen: Halle Berry Getting Married & Having A Baby

Since the last time Halle Berry was on the show, she’s been married and had another child. Halle Berry said she thought for sure she’d never marry again or have another baby. But now she’s learned to never say never. Her new baby is 7 months old and her oldest child is 6. Halle Berry said her daughter prayed for a baby brother and a bunk bed for like a year and a half. Now she treats him like a doll. She’ll throw something on his shirt and say it’s time for him to change his shirt. She even changes his diapers. Halle Berry said she didn’t think it was possible to have another child at her age. “Cause you’re like 65, right?” Ellen joked. Halle Berry said that it’s actually called a geriatric pregnancy having a baby at her age. She’s 47 now. She said she was pre-menopausal, so the new baby is really a miracle.

Halle Berry said that when she breastfed her daughter, it was a nice girly event. The boy, though, made her feel like he was “sucking the life out of her.” She even acted out the differences and it was hilarious. Ellen said it was too much information though.
Ellen: Halle Berry Being A Princess
Halle Berry said that her daughter doesn’t really understand what it is that she does. She’s never seen her movies or anything she’s been in. She has been to sets before, but she doesn’t understand where those things go. But she did hear her daughter tell someone that she’s a princess. “She thinks that because she sees me dress up in pretty dresses and leave the house and so I must be a princess because that’s what I do. She thinks I’m just not telling her. But she thinks that I am a real, live princess,” she said. Ellen said that Halle Berry should let her continue to think that. She said she should show up in carriages and stuff until her daughter is 20 and then tell her the truth.

Halle Berry said that all of the original X-Men cast are in the new movie, as well as all of the younger cast from X-Men: Origins. There’s new characters, as well, including fan favorite Bishop.
Ellen: Halle Berry Storm’s Hair
Halle Berry said that her hair in the new film is her favorite incarnation of her character Storm’s hair. She said it was a combination of her hair and Ellen’s hair.
Ellen: Halle Berry Extant
Halle Berry has a new television show produced by Steven Spielberg where she plays an astronaut called Extant. In the new show, there’s a lot of wire work. Halle Berry said that being Storm helped her with the work for the show.
