Ellen: Diane Keaton Darling Companion
Diane Keaton’s latest film, Darling Companion, is based on a true story. Director Lawrence Kasdan and his wife lost their own dog; together, they co-wrote the film.
The real life dog was missing in Colorado for two weeks before the couple found him alive.

Diane Keaton stars as Beth in this new movie, opposite Kevin Kline. The cast also includes Dianne Wiest, Richard Jenkins, and Elisabeth Moss.
Ellen DeGeneres announced that Darling Companion is in theaters now, but you should probably check your box office listings before heading to a theater.
Ellen: Diane Keaton Helen Woodward Animal Center
Ellen praised Diane Keaton for walking the walk, not just talking the talk when it comes to looking after animals. Diane is involved with the Helen Woodward Animal Center, in Rancho Santa Fe, California, near San Diego.
Diane said she keeps leashes, snacks, and other accessories in her car in case she comes along a stray dog that needs to be rescued. Ellen said she does that as well, because that’s the best way to be prepared to help needy animals.
Ellen revealed she once tried to rescue a coyote, who was reluctant to accept Ellen’s help. “I’ll save anything,” Ellen said.

Earlier, Diane Keaton Discussed The Importance Of Love in our lives. To illustrate this, she whipped out a list of men she has kissed in her various movie roles. “I think I should be in the Guinness Book of World Records here for kissing men on film,” she said. “It’s the best way to kiss, because they have to follow the story and love you.”
