Fresh off of a new marriage and in the midst of Oscar buzz surrounding her role in Les Miserables, Anne Hathaway came by Ellen to talk about it all.

Ellen congratulated Anne Hathaway on getting married in September and on Golden Globe and SAG nominations. While the two of them talked, they showed an image of Anne Hathaway and her husband kissing in a field.
When Anne Hathaway saw it, she exclaimed, “That’s him! That’s my husband!” It was obvious Anne Hathaway is very much in love with her husband, because she said those words like a little kid. “Well, I hope that’s your husband,” Ellen said.
Every time a photo of Anne Hathaway’s marriage is shown, she is going to donate the money to gay marriage rights. “It’s one of those things you shouldn’t have to fight for, but here we are,” Anne Hathaway said.
Anne Hathaway: Saturday Night Live Katie Holmes & Claire Danes Performance
Anne Hathaway played Katie Holmes in a skit on Saturday Night Live, where Katie Holmes went on Ellen. Ellen was played by Kate McKinnon.
Anne Hathaway said she wanted Katie Holmes to come on Saturday Night Live to play her, while Anne Hathaway played Katie Holmes. Katie Holmes wasn’t available, however. Anne Hathaway said she was able to get the blessing of Claire Danes, who Anne Hathaway also played on Saturday Night Live.
Ellen said she really enjoyed Kate McKinnon’s impression of her and said she called her the first time she played her and tweeted about it after that.

This was a big year for Anne Hathaway. She turned 30 this year and she also broke her arm and kept it a secret.
She broke it when she fell off her bike. She said that when her husband first went to get the pain meds, the pharmacist made a crack about Catwoman not being able to ride a bike.
She decided to keep it a secret after that.

Anne Hathaway said she felt like apologizing to Hugh Jackman, because they did upwards of 50 takes of a scene where she spit in his face.
The director of Les Miserables really wanted there to be realistic environments for the actors to be in during filming, despite the fact that they filmed on a set, instead of on location. Anne Hathaway said she had a real conflict, because there were real dead fish at the dock scene and she’s been a vegan for years.
Anne Hathaway lost a ton of weight for the role. She lost 10 pounds before filming began and another 15 pounds in 14 days while the movie was being filmed.
