Ellen Adam Levine Deals With Paparazzi & Maroon 5 Performs “Daylight”

Ellen: Adam Levine on The Voice

Adam Levine stopped by Ellen for an interview.

Ellen asked about The Voice and Levine said he loved working on the show. He said everyone is getting along a lot better this year. He said last year someone called Christina Aguilera fat and he stood up for her. He said she shouldn’t have to worry about being haggled her weight. Ellen said she loved that Levine stuck up for her and his own beliefs.

Ellen: The Voice Shakira Vs Blake Shelton

Levine said they are shooting season 3 and season 4 of The Voice right now. He gets to work with Aguilera and Cee Lo Green for a few works while shooting season 3 and then he gets to work with Shakira and Usher when shooting for season 4.

He said he likes working with Shakira and Usher, but he said Shakira and Blake Shelton do not understand each other. Shakira may be speaking English but Levine said they just do not understand each other’s accents.

As for him and Shakira working together, Levine said he loves her. He said it was like “country and city colliding.”

Ellen: Adam Levine American Horror Story

Levine has started getting into acting a bit more with one of his first roles being on American Horror Story. He said it wasn’t scary because you know everything is fake and phony on the set but his character went through a lot. His character got his arm ripped off, he got shot, he got stabbed and now his character is dead. But he said it was fun before he died.

Ellen: How to Deal with the Papparazzi

Levine said he is getting a lot more attention from the papparazzi now. It is unsual for him and he said he feels kind of strange. But when he saw someone else holding up a sign trying to help an organization he knew he had to use the papparazzi in a positive way. So he made a sign for the red cross and held it up when the papparazzi took pictures of him, knowing it would be all over the internet.

Ellen wanted to help him out with his signs, so she made him some pre-made signs that read:

• Currently single or dating with boxes to check.
• Can you get me tickets to One Direction?
• Please Rescue Animals

Ellen: Adam Levine Underwear

Levine told Ellen he was pro-underwear because it helps to keep everything together downstairs. So Ellen made sure to give her some of her Ellen underwear, to which he said the boxer briefs were his favorite kind of underwear. But Ellen had another surprise for him. She also gave him a special pair of underwear that sang one his songs every time he squeezed his butt.

Ellen: Maroon 5

Levine said Maroon 5 is going to be going on a world tour soon and they are starting at the Staples Center. But unlike most other bands on Ellen he didn’t just give away his album, Overexposed, he also gave everyone in the audience tickets to the show.

And on top of that, Maroon 5 performed “Daylight” on Ellen.
