Ellen: Adam Levine Begin Again
Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice coach Adam Levine swung by Ellen to talk about his new movie Begin Again. This is his first movie ever and the reigning Sexiest Man Alive said that he knew shockingly little about acting when he started working on the movie. He said he was working with incredible actors and he just didn’t know what he was doing. Keira Knightly and Mark Ruffalo also star in the movie and he said they were some of his favorite actors. But he said it ultimately ended up working out well.
Ellen: Adam Levine Fiancee & Dogs
Ellen congratulated Adam Levine on getting engaged. He also has a new dog named Charlie. Ellen accidentally showed a picture of Adam Levine’s other dog Bones. Ellen got Adam Levine a dog bed that said “Charlie Sexiest Dog Alive” because he’s People‘s Sexiest Man Alive. But she said she felt bad because she didn’t know Adam had another dog. “We’re gonna make another dog bed for Bones, because it’s not fair to have a sexiest dog alive bed for Charlie. It’s going to give Bones a complex,” she promised.
Ellen: Adam Levine & Usher Blindfolded Game
Ellen had two members of the audience come down to play a game she called “Let Me Adam.” Because Adam Levine has his own fragrance called Adam Levine For Women, Ellen wanted to put his scent to the test in this game. So the two women from the audience were blindfolded and were told that Adam Levine and another man were going to come out. The women could feel them and smell them and they had to tell which man was really Adam Levine.
When Adam Levine came out for the test, he walked out with Usher, who pantomimed to the audience that they should be quiet about the secret. One of the women patted Adam Levine down like she was an airport security guard and the other kept feeling Usher’s biceps. Ultimately, both women chose the right man as Adam. But neither one of them could believe that Usher was the other person. One of the girls immediately gave him a really long hug that lasted an inappropriate amount of time. It turned out it was Usher’s 14th time on Ellen as well. “That’s 14 more times than you’ve won The Voice,” Adam Levine said when he found out.
