Ellen TV: Jordana Brewster
Ellen shared that she just learned that Jordana was living in one of her old houses, but was moving out of it because of her new baby. But she lived in the house for about three years. Jordana joked that she got Ellen’s mail often and never opened it except for one exception when she got a Christmas card and saw a buffed up guy on the beach and realized it was Matthew McConaughey. Jordana said she knew it wasn’t her Christmas card, it was Ellen’s. She said she wanted to save it, but thought that would be even weirder.
Ellen: “Fast and Furious” Jordana Brewster
Ellen brought up how Jordana had to stop working on the Fast and Furious movie because everything was put on hold due to Paul Walker’s death. At the time of the show, Jordana said they were about to start shooting again. Jordana said Paul was a “magnificent man” and they were “partners in crime.” Jordana said he was a “rarity” and was always down to earth and very present.
Ellen: “Dallas” Jordana Brewster
According to Ellen, on the TV show Dallas, Jordana Brewster’s character was sleeping with her adoptive brother. Jordana explained that in seasons one and two, she was sleeping with with the guys she basically grew up with. But now she is sleeping with Nicholas who is her adoptive brother. She said she has a trend of sleeping with boys she grew up with, which is her thing.
Ellen pointed out that Jordana Brewster is often naked on the show and Jordana shared that when she was younger she saw topless pictures of her mom from when she was modeling in Brazil. So she said she can only imagine what her son will think about her role in the show.
Ellen asked if her husband had a problem with it and she shared that the one that really struggles with it is her father-in-law. He apparently screams at the television when he’s watching the show, saying things like “get your hands off of her!” Ellen pointed out that it’s weird to think about her father-in-law watching her in love scenes.
Ellen gave Jordana’s son a baby cowboy hat and cowboy boots to wear. I died a little when I saw them and now want them for my own son!
