Christian Slater has been a fixture in films and TV for decades. Last year, he returned to series television as the star of Fox’s sitcom Breaking In. Christian’s co-star, Megan Mullally, recently visited Ellen. Now he’s coming on the show to talk about what it’s like working on the sitcom. He will visit Ellen’s show on March 6 2012.

Christian Slater plays a security expert on the Fox comedy, which is returning for its second season. Megan Mullally’s character is the new boss, as she mentioned when she talked to Ellen last week. Have you watched the show?

It’s always weird to me that some shows get promoted heavily. In recent weeks, Ellen has had multiple guests from the ABC drama Revenge, and now Fox’s Breaking In sitcom.

Why are some shows promoted heavily while others can be popular for years, but have casts that rarely turn up on talk shows? What’s your favorite Christian Slater movie?

I know Ellen loves to give things away, but I sort of doubt she will be coughing up that kind of prize money on her talk show. I guess we’ll have to tune in to find out.
