Dr. Phil: Wife Beating Husband & He Is Cheating On Her With Models

Dr. Phil: Mother Has Rage Blackouts

Dr. Phil has been talking to a mother named Ashley whose rage blackouts are so intense, she regularly beats her husband Aaron until her knuckles go numb. Now the woman reveals that she’s very jealous of the other women in Aaron’s life. Aaron works as a photographer and often works around other models.

Dr. Phil: Husband Cheating On Wife

Ashley has hacked Aaron’s phone, his e-mails, even putting a “find a phone” on his phone to track him. Through all of these methods, she discovered that Aaron had been having an affair for over a year. Aaron said that he’s sent flirty text messages to models and even had one physical affair with a woman, who he said he was with around 10 times. Aaron said that if Ashley hadn’t caught him, he probably would’ve continued the affair. He also said there was no intimacy in his relationship with Ashley.

Dr. Phil: What Did He Have On His Phone?

Ashley found a picture of Aaron’s genitals on his phone, which he sent to another woman with a bunch of innuendos, a text sent to a different woman that read “I’d love to see you rolling around in the dirt, wearing next to nothing,” a revealing picture of a woman without clothes on, and a voicemail from a woman who said she couldn’t wait to see Aaron. Aaron said he had nothing to say to defend himself, except for that some of the flirty text messages were inside jokes or attempts to lift the model’s spirits since models can be very self-conscious. Because nothing says self-conscious like having other people take your picture for a living.

Dr. Phil took an informal poll of the audience to see if any of the women would be offended if they found these things in their husband’s phone. All of the women in the audience raised their hands.

Ashley also noted that Aaron told her that if she keeps looking, she’s going to find something. She said that was one of the most hurtful things he said. Dr. Phil wondered if Ashley knew of a way to resolve conflict that wasn’t violent. She said no. She also said she didn’t want to do breathing exercises because it was “for kids.”

Dr. Phil: Is His Cheating Relevant?

At this point I would just like to say that I absolutely do not feel that cheating is the same as spousal abuse. I find it insulting that Dr. Phil seems to be weighing them equally here. The truth is, if this was the other way around and it was a husband beating his wife regularly, the discussion would not be about whether the wife was having an affair or flirting with other men. I would like them to tell me why the man’s affairs are relevant. This is implying that he in some way “deserves” Ashley’s anger and therefore her fists and I find that idea repugnant. I thought Dr. Phil was better than that.
