Dr Phil: Sister Wars & Moral Police
Holly hasn’t talked to her sister Kari in three years. After Kari cheated on her husband and left her family she felt stabbed in the back by her family because they sided with her ex-husband. Kari wants a relationship with her sister but her sister is happy to stay away from Kari. Can Dr. Phil help this family heal and move on?
Dr Phil: Sister Caught Cheating
Kari and Holly are feuding over Kari cheating on her husband and leaving her children.
Holly said that Kari was caught cheating on her husband in a handicap stall in a restaurant bathroom while her husband was 20 feet away. Kari then left her husband and her kids and spent a weekend with her new boyfriend. Holly proceeded to call and leave her sister messages voicing her opinion.
Holly said she knew what it was like to be cheated on and Kari should have gotten her affairs in order before leaving her family. Dr. Phil said that Holly really had no right to act like a moral police and scold her sister.
Dr Phil: Sister Vs Sister Court Battle
Once her divorce went to court and the custody battle over her children began, Kari was shocked the her sister took her ex-husband’s side. Holly wrote an affidavit to the court supporting Kari’s ex-husband. She then went on to help Holly’s boyfriend’s ex-wife in her divorce. Holly insists that she has done nothing wrong and will never apologize for what happened. She was appalled with Kari left her kids for three months to be with another man.
Kari said she knows what she did was wrong but feels stabbed in the back that her family wouldn’t stand by her. She wants a resolution so that her family can have a relationship again. Holly said she saw no reason for them to fix their relationship and didn’t understand why her sister wanted to come on Dr. Phil. Holly said she is only too happy to air her sister’s dirty laundry for the world.
