Dr. Phil: Daughter Going Down The Same Path As Her Mother
Dr. Phil has been sitting down with a mother named Dee and her daughter Lacey. Dee was kidnapped and forced to work in a brothel as a teenager and she fears the same for her daughter Lacey. Lacey thinks her mother’s fears are unfounded, but the evidence says otherwise. Lacey’s life, by her own admission, is completely out of control. She’s been assaulted multiple times, kidnapped, held at gunpoint, she abuses drugs, she was pregnant at 16, she’s been in several abusive relationships, and she has no idea how to stop the carousel of her life.

Dr. Phil asked the mother and daughter both a number of questions. Have you been exploited? Have you been abused? Have you been kidnapped? They both said yes to all. If they’ve both been down the same dark path, why does Lacey think her mother’s fears are unfounded?
Dr. Phil: Injuries From Abuse
In the course of the abuse Lacey has suffered from different men in her life, she’s had a concussion, a fractured arm, her top front teeth and bottom front teeth were fractured and broken, she has over 30 scars and bruises on her body, she was picked up and thrown down four times on the concrete while pregnant, and she was maced on her face and her arms.
Dr. Phil: What Kinds Of Drugs Is She Doing?
Lacey also took a drug test that morning. Lacey tested positive for marijuana, opiates, methamphetamines, benzodiazepines, tricylic antidepressants, and oxycodone. Lacey said that she’s prescribed the opiates for her mouth pain, but she does abuse them. She also said she doesn’t even feel like eating unless she smokes marijuana. But she admitted she does abuse it.
When Dr. Phil asked her what her point was, she asked to take a bathroom break. Dr. Phil said she’d only been out there for 11 minutes. Lacey claimed they made her drink three bottles of water for the drug test. Dr. Phil let her go saying when you have to go, you have to go, and they’ll pause their broadcast. Dr. Phil was kind of a jerk about it.
