Dr Phil: Out of Control Teen & Mom Unable to Control Her
Nikki is an out of control teen and her mom, Yvette, isn’t doing anything to stop her. She claims Nikki does not respond to discipline and is dealing drugs. She’s stopped punishing her daughter and calls her horrid names.

Yvette is unable to control teen daughter Nikki. Dr Phil received an anonymous letter about Nikki and Yvette and it raised a lot of concerns.
Yvette said that she goes to sleep and Nikki throws big ragers. Yvette has basically given up on her daughter, she’s even de-friended her on Facebook. She said that she can’t hear anything in the backyard of her home and the police know how out of control the home is, but can’t do anything about it.
Did Yvette Lie About Nikki’s Problems?
Dr Phil received an anonymous email from someone about Yvette and her daughter. Yvette’s neighbors called Dr Phil and told him that he needs to help her and Nikki.
“To help Nikki, you must help Yvette,” the letter read. The person said that Yvette is the one that pushes Nikki to sell weed, drink, and do hard drugs. They said that Yvette is an unstable parent on her fourth marriage. They believe that Nikki will tell the truth, but Yvette has taught Nikki to lie.
Dr Phil refused to help Nikki and Yvette until they come clean and tell the truth. Yvette denied smoking marijuana with her daughter and sending her out to sell drugs. She said she has never drank alcohol with her daughter. She occasionally smokes marijuana, but does not do it with her daughter.
Dr Phil said he would help them, but if he finds anything false about their story, he will end all the help. He wants Yvette to put her own agenda and ego aside to help Nikki.
Dr Phil: Did Abuse Contribute to Teen’s Fighting?
Nikki’s first fight was in 8th grade. She’s told her mom that it’s a stress relief to fight girls. She even said that Nikki’s older sister helps her go fight. Nikki said that her step-father has been abusive and her mom has hit her with a belt. Yvette said that Nikki was never abused, she was punished and spanked. The step-father called Nikki names and put his hands on her, but never beat her.
Child protective services was called when Nikki was spanked. She told the CPS that she was not abused and then told her mom that she covered for her. Yvette told Nikki that if CPS came back and took away her young son, she would kick Nikki out of her home.
