Dr Phil July 19 2013 featured a meeting with the Violent Twins after months of wilderness treatment and a talk with a young mother and former drug addict.
On July 19 2013, Dr Phil welcomed some old guests back to the show for a check-in. Dallas and Drew were labelled The Violent Twins for their anger and drug addiction. Their parents opted to send them to separate wilderness rehab camps. Then, author of the memoir Running With Scissors, Augusten Burroughs, talks to Dr Phil about getting sober and what it means to relapse. Plus, Lane battled addiction to heroin and began to neglect her infant son. We check in with her a year after entering rehab at the Safe Harbor Treatment Center for women.

Dr Phil brought out Drew and Dallas. They had changed greatly in just two months of rehabilitation. Drew said he didn’t feel angry anymore and Dallas learned to express his thoughts and feelings.
