On Dr. Phil June 7 2013, Eighteen-year-old Cassie, who claimed that she was pregnant when she was 16, said that she lost the baby in a physical altercation with her father where he punched and kicked her. The fly in the lotion of Cassie’s story is that multiple monograms show that Cassie was laying about being pregnant. After months of not speaking with her family, Cassie came face to face with them for the first time, where it was revealed that this was not her first time lying.

Cassie’s father, Todd, said that he had not talked with her in three months because she will just accuse him of more things that never happened. He said that the fight that Cassie claimed ended the life of her unborn baby was not real.

Cassie’s grandmother said that she loved her, but she needed to stop the lying and fess up to lying about the pregnancy. In the face of mounting evidence, for whatever reason, Cassie would not back down from her lies.

Cassie created four Facebook accounts, and invented a friend called Kourtnie, and even her husband. She carried on conversations with these characters in her own mind. Once again, faced with a ton of evidence that the friends were fake. Cassie still stood by her lies.

Dr. Phil said that Cassie has likely become so bored with her life that she convinced herself that the lies are actually truths. Knowing that Cassie had lied herself in too deep, Dr. Phil arranged for Cassie to get a female counselor that could slowly walk her out of the darkness of her lies.
