Dr. Phil: Pregnant & Still Using Heroin
Sara told Dr. Phil in the first part that she was only doing hard drugs at the beginning of her pregnancy. She admitted to smoking marijuana and cigarettes still, but at first claimed she was done with heroin and cocaine. Then she later admitted to doing cocaine and marijuana the night before the show. In fact, the hotel where Dr. Phil’s staff had her and her family staying charged Dr. Phil $250 to clean the room and remove the marijuana smell. After her mother and stepfather pressed her about a supposed drug binge she went on a month earlier with her sister, Sara finally admitted that yes, she’d done heroin and cocaine a few times. But that’s not really “using” to her. She also said that she’d done meth in the past.

Plus, Dr. Phil will introduce Sara to Dr. Charles Sophy, director of the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services, and Areva Martin, an attorney and child advocate. The two of them have words of warning for the expectant mom. Could she go to jail for what she’s doing?
Ultimately, Dr. Phil will deliver Sara with an ultimatum: either she goes to rehab to learn how to get off drugs, or Dr. Phil turns over this information to the police. Which option will she choose?
