Dr. Phil has a great episode August 18, 2014, sitting down with a couple with a 26-year age divide. Ashley is 24 and Dean is 50 and they both say their relationship has been completely volatile for the entire three and a half years. They’ve both served time for domestic assault. Is there hope for this mismatched couple?

Dr. Phil: 26 Year Age Divide
Dean claims that Ashley has been violent a lot with him, once hitting him with a glass in the face, a wound that required 26 stitches. He claims she’s completely immature and goes out partying instead of being a mother to their 3-year-old daughter. Really? The guy 26 years older than his girlfriend thinks his girlfriend is too immature? Shocker.
Ashley says that Dean is the immature and violent one, having bitten her on the arm, driven off with her on the hood of his car, and even choking her while she was pregnant with their daughter. She also claims she doesn’t go out partying all that much.
Dr. Phil: Can This Couple Be Saved?
We’ll also hear from Dean’s 20-year-old daughter Morgan and his ex-wife Jody, who both claim Ashley is the problem in the relationship.
Can Dr. Phil help them stop the violence for the sake of their daughter? And should they even stay together? Dr. Phil will weigh in and offer help for them moving forward, both as individuals and as adults. What’s really at the root of this couple’s anger?
From the preview, it also looks like Ashley will walk off stage in anger after Dr. Phil refers to her as “wild”. So expect plenty of drama on August 18, 2014, when Dr. Phil gets to the bottom of this couple’s issues.
