Dr Phil scored a fascinating daytime TV exclusive interview with V. Stiviano, NBA LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s not-mistress, who talked about wearing a visor and the person who may have released the recordings that have landed both of them in the spotlight. Would she want to go back to work for him?

“I don’t know. I have mixed feelings. I don’t know what to think of the situation,” Stiviano said, questioning the comments he supposedly made to Maserati, the man from Las Vegas. Dr Phil pointed out that Sterling’s wife is suing her to reclaim gifts of cars and a home.

Will she return the gifts he gave her? “I can’t determine that. I don’t know why Mr. Sterling has allowed this legal process to continue,” she said. “I don’t know why Mrs. Sterling is doing what she’s doing. Why am I the target? I don’t know.”

Dr Phil pointed out that V. Stiviano was very visible with Sterling at LA Clippers games, and received cars and a condo from the man. “You understand that most people would assume that there’s a romantic connection there,” she said.

V. Stiviano had little or nothing to say about this. She said she never led him on or teased him, and that she did not have a sugar daddy relationship with him, but was his employee.

“He just gave you all that stuff because you’re a good human being?” Dr Phil asked. “We have a nurturing, loving relationship,” she said, classifying herself as a surrogate child to Sterling.

Stiviano has said she has many other recordings, and Dr Phil wondered what she would do with them. She planned to throw them away. Dr Phil said it would look to the average person that she had an inappropriate relationship with a married man.

“I think people are going to be very suspicious of that,” Dr Phil said. V. Stiviano predicted that others would see that Donald Sterling is a generous billionaire who took her under his wing.

Stiviano said in one of the recordings that he was in love with her. Did he ever hit on her? She claimed that she meant he was in love with her like a daughter. “I sometimes made bad choices and associated myself with bad people,” she said.

How will this story end? Stiviano seemingly joked that she might get a movie deal out of the story, but she does not know what might happen next.

Dr Phil wanted to know: What’s next for V. Stiviano? She said that depends on how the world responds to her story. “I don’t know what I’m going to do next,” she said.

Stiviano is in the process of adopting two children who are young teenagers. She hoped that it would be finalized soon. Dr Phil wondered why she wanted to do this. “I have a lot of energy. I’m young. I’m innovative,” she said.
