Dr Phil: Sara Kruzan Kills Pimp at Age 17
Sara Kruzan was 13 when she began to sell herself on the streets. Her pimp, G.G., was one of the more known pimps in the Hollywood area. In 1995, at just 17, Sara Kruzan killed G.G. and went to jail. While many believe she was just a victim of human trafficking, Kruzan is doing time for the murder. Many asked for her case to be reopened, and she was eventually granted clemency and will only be serving 25 years instead of life.

Dr Phil spoke to the mother and aunt of Sara Kruzan, who was a victim of human trafficking at age 13 and killed her pimp, G.G., at age 17.
Dr Phil: Where Was Sara Kruzan’s Mother?
34-year-old Sara Kruzan met G.G. when she was 11. She called him a father figure and said he would often take her out and shower her with gifts. G.G. taught Kruzan that she should sell her body because she’s too pretty to give it up for free.
Nicole didn’t know that her daughter was selling her body. In fact, Sara said that her mother had an addictive personality and was abusive. She found out her daughter was hanging around with G.G. Nicole later found Sara’s “work” outfits, corsets and nylons, in a suitcase under her bed.

Kruzan said that G.G. slept with her when she was 13. He then had her out on the streets, working.
“He uses his manhood to hurt,” she said. G.G. treated the women like his slave wives.
Nicole got a call from Sara one night. She asked to be picked up from a gas station in Hollywood. Nicole “had an idea” of what was going on, but refused to believe it. She found things on social media and YouTube that Sara had posted. Sara’s aunt Anne said she blames Nicole for Sara’s life in prison.
Sara blamed her mother for her abuse and constantly told Nicole she was a drug addict. Nicole then kicked Sara out because the accusations were so devastating.
Sara Kruzan Kills G.G. the Pimp
Sara Kruzan killed G.G. in a motel and left behind her purse and shoes. Aunt Anne saw a headline, “Teen Prostitute Kills Pimp.” She was shocked to see that the kind and bright child she knew had killed a pimp.
“There were no ifs, ands, or buts about Sara committing the murder,” Anne said.
Sara Kruzan was sentenced to life in prison with no parole for the death of G.G. the pimp. The original sentence did not include the mitigating circumstances, like abuse and human trafficking. In 2009, the Humans Rights Watch interviewed Sara in prison.
“My judge had told me I lacked moral scruples,” Sara said. I had no clue what morals were, and I had no clue what scruples meant.”
Despite the abuse, Sara believes she deserves to be punished for murder, but questions how much.
