Dr Phil Investigates Possible Double Homicide
Rebecca Zahau was found hanging from a balcony, naked and gagged, just two days after her boyfriend’s son Max Schnackai had a fatal fall in her home. Now, Dina, Max’s mom, wants to reopen the investigation and believes that Rebecca played a part in his death.

Rebecca Zahau’s family came to Dr Phil after her death and are now pushing to reopen her suicide case. They said she was murdered after Max Schacknai died.
Rebecca Zahau Family Push to Reopen Suicide Case
Rebecca’s sister, Mary, and her husband, Doug, doesn’t believe that Rebecca would have hurt herself or Max. They want to reopen both cases, believing them to be connected. In fact, Mary thinks that angry family members may have killed Rebecca for what happened to Max.
“To hear Dina get on TV and say things about my sister infuriates us,” Mary said. “We all know what she’s saying is not true. It’s like her taking a dagger and stabbing it in our hearts, as she stands there and talks about my sister, who cannot defend herself. She was brutally murdered for what happen to Max.”
In home videos of Max and Rebecca, you can see that she and Max had a happy relationship. Mary said that Rebecca had babysat children from all over the world and was great with kids. She would never have let anything bad happen to Max on purpose.
Doug backed up Mary’s theory. He believes that Becky would have injuries on her hands if there had been assault. “Becky treated Max like he was her own son. Becky did not assault Max. For Dina to say that, it makes no sense.”
Just like Dina believes Rebecca knew something about Max’s death, Doug thinks that Dina knows something about his sister-in-law’s death.
Attorney Anne Bremner Pushes Max Schacknai Case to Reopen
Doug and Mary’s attorney Anne Bremner is pushing to reopen both cases. She has found many descrepencies with both deaths and believes that you must find out what happened to Max to know what happened to Rebecca.
There is a lot of speculation about how Max fell. Dr Judy Melnik believes that Max was lifted over the railing. Now, Bremner believes that Max’s scooter was somehow involved. Dr Judy Melnik has examined all of these photos and found the scooter’s paint marks inconsistent with the reports. The marks are low on the wheels, making zero sense at all. She examined the photos of the gouges in this video:
