Dr Cyril Wecht Investigates Deaths of Rebecca Zahau & Max Schacknai
The deaths of Max Schnakai and Rebecca Zahau are under huge speculation. Dr Judy Melnik and attorney Anne Bremner have examined the accidental death of Max and the alleged suicide of Rebecca. Now, Dr Phil brings in Cyril Wecht, a forensic pathologist, to review Dr Melnik’s theories.
Dr Wecht said that he respected Dr Melnik and her excellent work, but he disagrees with her findings. He believes that Max’s fall was violent and in no way a “simple fall” as the reports suggest. He thinks that Max was jumping around, the dog was running, the scooter was flying and Max fell. He did not grab the chandelier to swing for fun.
Dr Wecht thinks that Dr Melnik was a little flip floppy in her reports, findings and opinions. He thinks that it was accidental, but the doubts about Rebecca’s death are cause for great concern. He then begged the San Diego Police Department to reopen the cases.
Was Rebecca Zahau Killed Or Did She Commit Suicide?

Dr Cyril Wecht examined Rebecca Zahau’s body and the autopsy report of Max Schacknai. He believes these cases need to be reopened and examined.
Mary said she’s not accusing anyone, but she knows that the deaths are connected. Rebecca’s death might have been retribution in some way.
“All I know is that my sister would be alive if Max didn’t get hurt,” Mary said.
Mary said that Rebecca was in the bathroom when Max fell. She heard the crash and ran out, trying to resuscitate Max. They never expected him to die, but Mary questions why Dina didn’t talk to Rebecca after Max’s accident. She believes that Dina should have met with her in the hours and days after the accident to find out what happened.
Max Schacknai Accidental Death Case Will Not Reopen
After seeing all of this information and her methodical research, Dina knows that her son Max’s death was not accidental. She heard everything that the investigators and Rebecca’s family had to say and still believes that Rebecca Zahau was somehow involved in Max’s death.
Dina has asked to reopen the investigation and the police department denied the request. Max’s death will not be reopened because they believe their findings stand.
Dina told Mary that seeing her son, laying helpless in the hospital, in a diaper with wires and tubes all over, was disturbing for her. She didn’t think that her son would die and she believed that she would get to speak with Rebecca about what happened.
The thing that upsets Dina the most now is that Rebecca’s family believes she knows some new information. Dina knows that Rebecca’s family has information that she doesn’t have. Rebecca’s mental evaluation was not put in Max’s file, meaning that Mary or her ex-husband has it.
